５日間のナショナルチーム合宿が修善寺で行われて来ました。次世代へ繋ぐ大事なミッションとして、我流から形あるものへ近道へと。
The five-day national team training camp was held. As an important mission to connect to the next generation, we took a shortcut from self-taught to something tangible.
スキルもそうだし、レースへの取り組みと今立ち止まって考える瞬間の大事な道しるべを。コーチングに慣れる事も重要で、以前はアドバイスもうわの空だった選手も成長をしてました。
It’s not just about skills, but also about approaching the race and providing important guideposts for moments of reflection. Getting used to coaching is also important, and even athletes who previously ignored advice have grown.
ホントはこの間の期間を無くして、選手とコミュニケーションを常に出来るとかなりのレベルアップを図れるんだけど、現実はそうはいかない。便利になった時代だけに、夜は携帯から離れる時間を作ったり、目覚まし時計の生活を送ってみたり。食事の様子をみるけど好き嫌いがあったり、ご飯はおかわり無しの選手が多くてびっくりしたり😅疲れて来て精神的にイライラあったり、選手間で怒鳴ったり。
In reality, if we could eliminate this period and be able to communicate with the players all the time, we could improve their level significantly, but that’s not the case in reality. In this age of convenience, I take their cell phone and check on their meals at night, but they have likes and dislikes 😅 and get tired, which can be mentally frustrating.
僕が切磋琢磨して積み上げてきた理想とする形が、今に伝える大事なミッション。振り返ると僕も長きに渡りコーチングをして来たけど、選手に育てていただいた繊細で的確なアドバイスができるのも積み上げられた経験があるからこそ。選手は鮮度があって、ピークは長くは続かない。だからこそのタイミングを大事にして欲しいと思う。
The ideal form that I have built up through hard work is an important mission that I want to convey to the present. Looking back, I have been coaching for a long time, and it is because of the accumulated experience that I am able to give sensitive and accurate advice to players that I have been able to give them. Players are like living things, and their peak does not last long. That is why I want them to value the timing.
まずは5日間という期間で見えてきた事、自分自身のルーティングだったり、行動も5分前以上に集合場所にいるという心がけ。それだから僕も１時間も早く動いてみたりして、スタッフとしての機能も大事だなーと感じていました。選手もこちら側にしっかりと耳を傾けてキャッチボールをスムーズにする。それでこそ、スポーツのレベルアップに繋がるんだろうなと。クラブGRMにとどまらず、コーチングを受けたいというチャンスを増やさなきゃな。と感じる今回の合宿。シーズンがすぐ始まりますね。
First of all, what I learned over the five-day period was my own routing and the mindset of being at the meeting point at least five minutes early. That’s why I also tried to get there an hour earlier, and I realized how important it is to function as a staff member. The players also need to listen carefully to what we’re saying, which makes the exchange go smoothly. I think that’s what will lead to an improvement in the level of the sport. I feel that we need to increase the opportunities for people to want to receive coaching, not just at club GRM. The season will start soon.
